I learned a lot here from the people around me. Everyone has their own routines, some people travel a lot, some sleep until 12, some wake up and practice guitar. But overall everyone is following their own rhythm and their own values and these individuals come together in a community.
They really inspire me to look at my habits and reflect, why I do them, do they serve me? And also to build new habits, to experiment and try new things. I feel encouraged by them.
Here I feel the openness from the people around me. They all have their own struggles and they are not hiding it if they have a bad day. That is a relief I can let go of this 24 hour shift of pretending things to be okay, which I learned from the pressure of society.
Living in a village is very different from city life but it doesn’t mean that we don’t have a social life here. My favorite activities are singing, cuddling, walking outside or just having a nice conversation with someone. Life is going in a slower pace, there is usually no rush, which can be triggering after city life, where I always felt lazy and behind with my tasks.
Overall this experience is teaching me a lot and I enjoy every minute.
